Sustaining Resilience

Hello, I'm Kiki, a doctoral researcher in the Doctor of Business Administration program at Drexel University. Before moving into my current role, I spent years working in EMS and emergency communications, which shaped my interest in provider wellness, stress, and resilience. This project is part of my dissertation work focused on making practical wellness tools and resources more accessible to EMS professionals.

Purpose

I believe support should be accessible, practical, and grounded in evidence. This project was created to share tools EMS providers can use in real time to manage stress, strengthen resilience, and reduce the long-term impact of the work.

Participation

If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete two short surveys (each taking no more than 10 minutes) and review stress-reduction tools through the Resilience Resource Model (RRM).
This study will take place during July and August 2026. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may stop at any time. Your responses will remain confidential, and no identifying information will be collected. Please view the information sheet for more details.

Thank You

I would like to invite you to participate in this study which, will examine work-related experiences among DC FEMS personnel. Your insights may help inform future tools, resources, and methods to support the well-being of emergency service professionals.
